Administration assistant

To support the Operations Manager by updating and maintaining cloud-based records for the church and the building, to respond to telephone and email bookings and correspondence and provide a point of contact and support to those hiring rooms

● Maintain the church cloud-based IT system to ensure all documents are up to date and accurate

● Be a point of first contact for people making enquiries and taking room bookings

● Respond to and support customers and clients as needed

● Support completion of Building risk assessment and other

● Deal with post, calls and emails into the church, and pass onto the relevant team member

● Support rota management for church activities

● Undertake appropriate training as needed

● Ad hoc duties as required

 

● This role represents Church in The Peak in dealing with a range of customers and clients and the

post holders will be expected to demonstrate the ethos and values of the church

● Strong IT skills, ideally updating and printing records from a cloud-based system and website

maintenance

● Working knowledge of Word, Excel or equivalent software

● Good organisational skills with attention to detail

● Empathetic, non-judgmental and a good listener

● Be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people

● Good communication skills both verbal and written

● A reasonable level of numeracy and literacy

● Understand the importance of confidentiality

● Be honest and act with integrity

● Appreciate the importance of working within policies and procedures
