Heart for the lost. Mt. 9:35-38
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Mat 28:19
Gift of the evangelist. ... The special ability that God gives to certain members of the Body of Christ to readily share the gospel with unbelievers in such a way that men and women often become Jesus’ disciples and responsible members of the Body of Christ. This gift is a practical gift.
The task of evangelism is an important spiritual exercise that all Christians should be involved with; God gifts certain members with an ability to have unusual sensitivity to when someone is ready to accept Christ, and will generally have greater success in leading people to Christ than other Christians. People with this gift should be active in training others to share their faith.
Acts 8:5-6, 26-40; Eph 4:11-14; 2 Tim4:5.
Jesus was the best evangelist around, he demonstrated his love for the lost and he equipped his disciples and then sent them. Today he wants to send us.
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:35-38
I. Jesus Went To the People (vs. 35)
My question is; are we doing the same as Jesus did because he wants us to do?
How will we help to take Gods word to Gods world? We are called to be on a mission.
II. Christ Really Saw them
Today how do we see people?
III. He Had Compassion On Them
What is our compassion like for people compared to Jesus compassion?
How can we have compassion for people?
IV. Then He said
When was the last time you shared your story or told his story?
When was the last time you led someone to Jesus? It's exciting.
What equipping do you or the church need to help reach the lost?
What stops us today from seeking Gods heartbeat and saying send me?
Going out into this world to sow seeds for eternity and reaping.
We all have gifts to work together to advance the kingdom of God here in the Peaks
This is our season our time make the best of it for God.

1Timothy 4: 14-15, 2 Tim1:6
I believe God is saying to his church today about the spiritual gifts and everyone is a gift to this church family for a purpose and God has and wants to give . spiritual gifts to help build his church so that it will grow and will reflect his glory here in the Peaks.
God wants us to refocus, reignite, the calling and gifts he has given us to build his church. Re ignite the passion.
1Cor12:7-9. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers. to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues and to still another the interpretation of tongues All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
